Fayerweather Island Lighthouse

This one was taken last Sunday in the late afternoon so that the sun would light the western face of the structure. From a composition standpoint, I was able to catch the Cat Boat just to the right of the lighthouse.

  1. Beautiful double-double-duality of white forms: the bold bright geometric sail relates to the iconic coastal architecture, and, their subtle reflections relate to each other, and, the strong whites create their own understated reflections - such complex simplicity, such simple complexity - love it. The Discerning Alderman Eye. Kudos.
